Sign in using the username & password (same as logging into computer)

Lessons have been assigned to them based on their diagnostic test results both in Math and Reading. Within each lesson are brain break games. The district is pushing a goal of 45 minutes per week on Online Lessons in ELA and 45 minutes per week in Math to close the gaps found in the diagnostic. Math and ELA are providing some of that time during the week, but not all.

WHAT ARE WE LEARNING: Adobe Photoshop

WHY IS IT IMPORTANT: Adobe Photoshop, computer application software used to edit and manipulate digital images. Photoshop was developed in 1987 by the American brothers Thomas and John Knoll, who sold the distribution license to Adobe Systems Incorporated in 1988.  ​

HOW WILL MY TEACHER KNOW WHAT I LEARNED:  You will practice different tools and techniques and gradually show your success!

Add text inside a shape

Make text more interesting by creating it inside a shape drawn with a Shape tool. When you do, the text edges follow the contours of the shape.

You'll get step-by-step instructions that guide you around the interface.

Click:

Open Creative Cloud Desktop App

Follow the in-app tutorial!

Click (on the pop up) START TUTORIAL

Begin!

Pop up screens will show you how!

YOU MUST TYPE A ORIGINAL PARAGRAPH IN THE CIRCLE!

SAVE (as) YOUR DOCUMENT!

Shortcut: Shift + Ctrl + S

(or File: SAVE AS)


Save to YOUR COMPUTER!

Click the Save on Your Computer button

On the left click THIS PC

Select Desktop

Select Arts and Media Folder

Name the document: 

"First Name Last Name TEXT IN SHAPE"

Click SAVE

Press Ctrl + S to SAVE!!! Do this often!


SHOW ME ON YOUR SCREEN!!

Do NOT close PHOTOSHOP!!!

ASSIGNMENT 2: 3 Shapes!

Now let's to grab another file!

Click the Ps Image on the left!

Left click the DOWNLOAD button on the top right

This will save the file to your Arts & Media folder!

SAVE (as) YOUR DOCUMENT!

Shortcut: Shift + Ctrl + S

(or File: SAVE AS)


Save to YOUR COMPUTER!

Click the Save on Your Computer button

On the left click THIS PC

Select Desktop

Select Arts and Media Folder

Name the document: 

"First Name Last Name 3 SHAPES"

Click SAVE

Based on what you just learned, add a paragraph to each shape.

Yes you will have to type 3 paragraphs!

If you get stuck on the POLYGON, click on the screen and enter the amount of sides you need. Then use the move tool to move and size the polygon!

To get credit!

Raise your hand and show me on your screen! Then...

Click UPLOAD FROM THIS DEVICE

Find the TWO PHOTOSHOP  files we were just working on!


REMEMBER! YOU ARE ATTACHING THE Photoshop File! 

DO NOT EXPORT THE FILES!!!!

NOTE: There MUST be TWO Adobe Photoshop files attached to get credit. Simply clicking TURN IN will not do!!!
