The district is pushing a goal of 45 minutes per week on Online Lessons in ELA and 45 minutes per week in Math to close the gaps found in the diagnostic. Math and ELA are providing some of that time during the week, but not all.

Today we are practicing the Pen Tool!
We need to grab a file first!
Click the Ai Image on the left!
Left click the DOWNLOAD button on the top right
This will save the file to your Arts and Media folder!
Quick Tip! After you click the download button, notice on the top right corner the download should appear...simply click the file to open!
SAVE (as) YOUR DOCUMENT!
Shortcut: Shift + Ctrl + S
(or File: SAVE AS)
Save to YOUR COMPUTER!
Click the Save on Your Computer button
On the left click THIS PC
Select Desktop
Select Arts and Media Folder
Name the document:
"First Name Last Name DD Pen"
Click SAVE
Illustrator OPTIONS...
Version: Illustrator 2020
click OK
Set the stroke and fill BEFORE drawing!
At the top left of your screen, click the down arrow beside the Fill box and select NONE...
Set the stroke color to BLACK...
Set the stroke weight to 10 pt
Follow the instructions on the page!
Start at LEVEL 1: Match the gold path using the PEN TOOL (P)
Remember to press the SPACE BAR to move to the next level! (we learned this earlier!)
