Lessons have been assigned to them based on their diagnostic test results both in Math and Reading. Within each lesson are brain break games. The district is pushing a goal of 45 minutes per week on Online Lessons in ELA and 45 minutes per week in Math to close the gaps found in the diagnostic. Math and ELA are providing some of that time during the week, but not all.
Get to know Photoshop!
What you NEED to know!!!!
WHAT ARE WE LEARNING: Adobe Photoshop
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT: Adobe Photoshop, computer application software used to edit and manipulate digital images. Photoshop was developed in 1987 by the American brothers Thomas and John Knoll, who sold the distribution license to Adobe Systems Incorporated in 1988.
HOW WILL MY TEACHER KNOW WHAT I LEARNED: You will practice different tools and techniques and gradually show your success!

Add a layer style and remove the fill!
Use a layer style to outline the text with a stroke. Then, by reducing the fill setting, the text becomes see-through!
Click the ADD LAYER STYLE ICON (the fx at the bottom of the Layers Panel) and choose Stroke. Set size to 14 px, Position to OUTSIDE, and opacity to 100%.
Click the Color Box and enter F0E6CB in the # field.
Click OK
Adjust the fill in the Layers Panel
Click the drop down next to the Fill setting and drag the slider left to 0%.
This removes the color from the inside of the letters but leaves the stroke intact...making the letters look hollow!
Press Ctrl + S to SAVE!!! Do this often!
Beyond the tutorial...
In the layers panel, double click the word EFFECTS under the ITALY layer
This opens the Layer Style panel again
Drop Shadow
