Lessons have been assigned to them based on their diagnostic test results both in Math and Reading. Within each lesson are brain break games. The district is pushing a goal of 45 minutes per week on Online Lessons in ELA and 45 minutes per week in Math to close the gaps found in the diagnostic. Math and ELA are providing some of that time during the week, but not all.

Get to know Adobe Express!

What is Express?

WHAT ARE WE LEARNING: Adobe Creative Cloud Express

WHY IS IT IMPORTANT: Adobe Creative Cloud Express is a cloud-based media creation application that makes it easy for anyone to create impressive social media graphics, promotional videos, and single-page websites. One of its great features is that it can be accessed from any device with online access.

Adobe Express gives us everything we need to create graphics, flyers, photos, presentations, web pages, and videos — and express ourselves in unique and beautiful ways both inside and outside the classroom!

HOW WILL MY TEACHER KNOW WHAT I LEARNED:  You will practice different tools and techniques and gradually show your success!

WHY STORIES?

Here are a few things Instagram Stories are best for:

Timely Content: The 24-hour lifespan of stories can be an advantage. Stories do a great job capturing fleeting moments if you’ve got something new or topical to discuss. If you want Stories to have a permanent home on your feed, you can save them to your Story highlights.

Unscripted Content: Stories are where you get to give followers a more light-hearted, behind-the-scenes look at your brand. They are a great way to make followers feel included in your inner circle.

Posting Links: If you want to post a link to your website, a new product, or any other site, you can do so directly on stories. This makes it easy to direct followers wherever you want them to go.

Engagement-focused content: On Stories, you can ask questions, create quizzes, conduct polls, or ask followers to vote on topics via interactive stickers.

The most significant differences between Stories and posts: Instagram Stories are live for 24 hours, while posts stay on a profile forever. On Stories, you can share videos, photos, text-only screens, and content from Instagram. Posts can be videos, photos, carousels, or Reels.
