Lessons have been assigned to them based on their diagnostic test results both in Math and Reading. Within each lesson are brain break games. The district is pushing a goal of 45 minutes per week on Online Lessons in ELA and 45 minutes per week in Math to close the gaps found in the diagnostic. Math and ELA are providing some of that time during the week, but not all.

WHAT ARE WE LEARNING: Adobe Illustrator Text on a Path!
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT: Adobe Illustrator is a vector graphics editor and design program developed and marketed by Adobe Inc.
What you will learn: Text on a Path and reshaping!
With the Type tool selected, press Alt (Windows) or Option (macOS) and click the edge of a path to add text.
Drag across the text to select it. In the Properties panel to the right of the document, change text formatting options like fill color, font, and font size.
Select the Selection tool and move the pointer off a corner of the text object and drag to rotate.

Left click the DOWNLOAD button on the top right
This will save the file to your Arts & Media folder!
Quick Tip! After you click the download button, notice on the top right corner the download should appear...simply click the file to open!
SAVE (as) YOUR DOCUMENT!
Shortcut: Shift + Ctrl + S
(or File: SAVE AS)
Save to YOUR COMPUTER!
Click the Save on Your Computer button
On the left click THIS PC
Select Desktop
Select Arts and Media Folder
Name the document:
"First Name Last Name Text Path"
Click SAVE
Illustrator OPTIONS...
Version: Illustrator 2020
click OK
With the document open...
Click on VIEW (on the top menu) and select Fit All in Window! Ctrl + 0
Select the Type tool (T)
Move the pointer over the top edge of the yellow circle.
If you see it, that means that if you click, any text you type will go INSIDE the circle and that is NOT what we want!
Press Alt
Now press ALT on your keyboard and with the pointer over the edge of the circle, click!
The yellow shape of the object should disappear, because this is now a text object.
Type
With the text selected (Highlighted)...
Now type BOBBY'S CAMPFIRE (in capital letters)
Select the text
To select the text, click and drag across it so you can apply some text formatting! (triple click it!)
Format the text...
In the Properties panel change the text size to 20 pt and select a SANS SERIF font like Arial Black
Rotate the text...
Select the Selection tool
Move the pointer just off the box around the circle and when you see rotate arrows, drag until the text looks centered on the logo.
