The district is pushing a goal of 45 minutes per week on Online Lessons in ELA and 45 minutes per week in Math to close the gaps found in the diagnostic. Math and ELA are providing some of that time during the week, but not all.

WHY IS IT IMPORTANT: Adobe Creative Cloud Express is a cloud-based media creation application that makes it easy for anyone to create impressive social media graphics, promotional videos, and single-page websites. One of its great features is that it can be accessed from any device with online access.  ​

Adobe Express gives us everything we need to create graphics, flyers, photos, presentations, web pages, and videos — and express ourselves in unique and beautiful ways both inside and outside the classroom!

HOW WILL MY TEACHER KNOW WHAT I LEARNED:  You will practice different tools and techniques and gradually show your success!

then Get Started under Adobe Express!)

Once open click

YOUR STUFF on the left!

(Open your Resume!)

Continue to make changes to the resume!

If you have not started...

Click the blue circle with + to create a new project...

In the search, type RESUME

Select Resume (8.5 x 11in)


On the left select TEMPLATES

Scroll through and select one you like! Choose one that includes a PHOTO!

Click on it to begin!

Name your project on the top left

Name it "First Name Last Name Resume"

Click the name

Type your First and Last name

Change your title to 

Arts & Media Specialist

Now go and change other items!

Education: (Gaston Middle School)

Training: 2024 Arts & Media

Skills:

Add a paragraph about you! (See paragraph above Class Projects!)

"Work Experience"...

Change Work Experience to Class Projects

Click on "What are we doing" (above right on this website) to find what we did in the past!

Choose at least 3 projects like:

Write a sentence telling the reader what the project was about!



Change the photo!

Click on the photo

Select REPLACE

On the left click UPLOAD PHOTO

Select the photo you saved of yourself in your EXPRESS folder...

Click OPEN

If you need your photo...

Click the button, scroll down and click on your name to download your photo!

Click CROP AND SHAPE to resize the photo where you want it!







Here you can resize, rotate etc!

Click the Check mark (top right) when you are happy!

SHOW ME ON YOUR SCREEN!!

Do NOT close EXPRESS until your work is verified!!!

GETTING CREDIT!!!

DOWNLOAD!

When you are done...

Click DOWNLOAD on the top RIGHT

Select JPG (pulldown menu)

CLICK DOWNLOAD

Click UPLOAD FROM THIS DEVICE

Select DOWNLOADS (on the left) 

Click the downloaded file to select it (it should be called First Name Last Name resume.jpg)

Click OPEN

NOTE: There MUST be a file attached to get credit. Simply clicking TURN IN will not do!!!
