The district is pushing a goal of 45 minutes per week on Online Lessons in ELA and 45 minutes per week in Math to close the gaps found in the diagnostic. Math and ELA are providing some of that time during the week, but not all.

Important to set stroke color, fill color, and stroke weight before drawing

Left click the DOWNLOAD button on the top right
This will save the file to your downloads folder!
Quick Tip! After you click the download button, notice on the top right corner the download should appear...simply click the file to open!
SAVE (as) YOUR DOCUMENT!
Shortcut: Shift + Ctrl + S

Save to YOUR COMPUTER!
Click the Save on Your Computer button
On the left click THIS PC
Select Desktop
Select Arts and Media Folder
Name the document:
"First Name Last Name Vector Pen"
Click SAVE
Illustrator OPTIONS...
Version: Illustrator 2020
click OK
MAKE SURE YOUR WORKPLACE IS CORRECT!...
Click WINDOW>WORKSPACE>ESSENTIALS CLASSIC!
Using some of the tools you now know...Zoom, Hand and Pen etc..."TRACE" the word VECTOR (following the directions on the file)!
Set the stroke and fill BEFORE drawing!
To start with the Pen tool, select the Pen tool in the Toolbar and set the pen properties (top left corner!
(NONE on the Fill and Black on Stroke with 3 to 5 pt line weight!)
REMEMBER to SAVE...Do it NOW!
To SAVE!!!
Tomorrow, we will turn it in through TEAMS!
Go to our Classroom in TEAMS
Select Assignments
Select
VECTOR Pen!
Scroll down to MY WORK
Click +ATTACH
Click UPLOAD FROM THIS DEVICE
Select DESKTOP (on the left)
Select your Arts and Media Folder
Find the First Name Last Name Vector Pen.ai file and select it
Click OPEN
REMEMBER! DO NOT EXPORT...YOU MUST ATTACH THE Ai FILE!!!
Wait for files to upload
File will show up below under My Work
CLICK TURN IN!
